Center for Emerging Visual Artists has invited me to participate in Philadelphia Open Studio Tours!: This is a virtual event that takes place over 4 dates, April 7, 14, 21 & 28, 2021, 6-8 pm. You can register for free tickets on the POST website. I’m part of the lineup for April 14th.
POST is a free-of-charge, behind-the-scenes tour. Meet and interact with artists through an approachable, self-guided, and easy-to-navigate virtual experience. Over 200 participating artists and community partners from across Philadelphia and beyond. There will be a different selection of artists for each date so check the website for all the information.
My presentation on April 14th, 6-8 pm will highlight the making of “Dawning” my installation in the ArtBox @ Lincoln Square. You will be let in on my process starting with my sketches on poster board, working with Adobe Illustrator, and a Universal Laser through the actual installation process.
