After taking the course Developing a Public Art Practice at Penland School of Crafts with Nancy Blum I’ve decided to explore working in glass. Lucky for me I have the opportunity to do just that in the next few weeks! I’ll share details soon.
Here I’d like to share the work of inspiring glass artist Alex Hirsch She works in both watercolor and glass. Her work is inspired by nature. Gorgeous color and lyrical tendencies keep it feeling loose like a watercolor. Below you can see her working and some examples of her beautiful public art installations.
