Here is a link to Marcia’s newsletter announcement and a link to Nanci Hersh’s blog post that has great images of 3 of the other artists installing. Here’s a few pictures I took after installing my sculptures Algae Bloom and Coral Reef Forms.
I wish I’d taken some photos at the opening but I was too busy meeting new people and making many new connections. I guess that’s one of the roles that art plays in my life. It’s the grand connector. I feel connected to people who express their enjoyment of the work and also to the other artists whom like me are compelled to make it. It was a beautiful opening, thank you Marcia for your passion for bringing contemporary art to Milford, DE. You have a gift for curation, as seen in your gallery and a love of art that is infectious. Here’s another image that my husband snapped with his phone.
And here’s one I snagged from Nanci Hersh’s blog.
The show is up through November 30th, so if you’re driving that way make a stop in Milford and check out Marcia Reed’s beautiful gallery.
